All you’ll need is a slow cooker, about 1 cup (10 grams or so) of one of the cannabis strains we mentioned above, and 1 cup of butter. 

The most important step here is to decarboxylate, or “decarb” your cannabis before you make the cannabutter. If you don’t, the cannabis will lose most if not all of its psychedelic effects. 

Place the removable bowl from the slow cooker (not the entire unit) with the ground cannabis in the oven for about 30-40 minutes at 200 degrees Fahrenheit. 

Afterward, remove the bowl from the oven, throw in the butter (you may want to melt it beforehand) and let it simmer in the slow cooker on low for 2-3 hours.
